Weld Solutions is small on purpose. We are flexible, nimble and easy to work with, and every weld is backed by decades of precision welding experience.
Where we come from
The story starts with George DeLalio, who founded EB Industries in Farmingdale, NY in the mid 1960s. With an $8,000 loan from his mother, he bought a single electron beam welding machine and built one of the most respected precision welding job shops in the country, serving the growing aerospace industry.
In 1984, Steven DeLalio brought laser welding into EB Industries when the company commissioned its first Raytheon pulsed laser welder. He has followed the technology ever since, adding real time weld depth measurement from Laser Depth Dynamics (LDD), adjustable beam mode (ABM) fiber lasers and a range of wobble heads as each came along. Laser welding has advanced at a rapid pace since that first machine, and we have advanced with it.
In 1993, Steven became president and owner. Over the next 26 years he grew revenue eightfold and added hermetic sealing, before EB Industries was acquired by MCM Capital in 2019.
Steven never lost his passion for the industry. He still consults on welding and laser technology, and he recently began offering welding services after seeing a real need for quick delivery and high quality at a price that does not carry the cost of tremendous overhead. That is what Weld Solutions is built to do.

Steven DeLalio
President
Steven brings an engineer’s mind to every weld. His background spans mechanical engineering, electronics and software engineering, and he has spent more than 40 years in electron beam and laser welding. He brought laser welding into EB Industries in 1984 and led the company from 1993 until its acquisition by MCM Capital in 2019, growing revenue eightfold and adding hermetic sealing along the way.
Steven loves the leading edge of this technology. He is always exploring what is new in laser welding, from wobble heads and adjustable beam mode to new fiber laser sources and process monitoring, and he puts what he learns to work on customer parts. He handles quoting and engineering support himself, so you work directly with someone who understands your joint.
